Santa Fe Mountains ~ Tucker Family

The first time I saw the Santa Fe mountains in their full fall glory I wanted there and then to photograph someone. When I listed off and described potential photo session locations to Nichole I was elated that she choose this spot! I wish it could say it satiated my craving to take pictures there. I try and spend as much time as I can there every fall, hopefully next year it will be to take more family photos…perhaps yours? This was my last attempt, playing red light green light and it worked! After thinking about it though I have to say I relate to the little man, I’m not one to fake a smile, or anything for that matter. If the only smiles you give are genuine then I say good for him! His parents know him and his personality so they know he wouldn’t be smiling for most the pictures anyway. He is dang cute, and I love it when kids are themselves, smile or not. Thank you Tucker family for the honor of allowing me to take your family pictures! I had a great time 🙂 Someone recently asked me how I can handle the craziness of taking family photos. Truthfully I love it, I may stress before a session, but once I start shooting it’s my happy place. I love the dynamics of every family and enjoy spending time with anyone I photograph. I want to add more here, but little bit just woke up from her nap is helping me stay brief Lol! Thanks again Tuckers!
