When I tell people I’m honored that they had me take their pictures, I’m not just saying that. I feel that way, when someone loves my art and trusts me to capture themselves and their family it’s an honor. I felt really, really honored when Kelly asked if I would take their family photos which included both of their parents. It’s a rare photo indeed that includes both sets of a couples parents and all their kids and grand-kids. Kelly’s husband Brett is my Stake President and I love every opportunity to hear him speak. Last time it was at our Stake General Relief Society Meeting, he talked about 2 Cor. 7-10. That we strive for the highest Gospel standards set forth by the Savior and then when we fall short instead of disparaging because of what we can’t do we instead ponder in gratitude the gap that is filled by His saving grace, He does accept our offerings. It totally makes sense that we have weaknesses, ” and if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me then will I make weak things become strong unto them.” Ether 12 :27. Anyhow just grateful for inspired leaders and their amazing families. I am grateful for their service.
So grateful for my assistant Carla, these 6 grand-babies had all gotten in the night before from long drives in to celebrate their aunts graduation and were not in the mood to sit still and one poor dear wasn’t feeling well. They all did great though, it’s hard to sit still for more then 30 seconds Lol!
