52 and Fabulous! With Before & After

It doesn’t’ matter what age you are, don’t let that deter you from getting your portraits done. It was a lot of fun to take pictures of my mom. She wanted me to take a few simple pictures of her, but that’s not how I do things Lol! I did her hair and make-up. I knew what look I was going for  so I asked a seamstress friend to make the skirt, which turned out fabulous. My mom loved it and still loves it! It’s a package deal, the works! She was happy that we went big. Let’s face it, it’s fun to feel fancy occasionally!SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC

She LOVES her chickens and has since I can remember. It’s fun to incorporate ones love’s in live into portraits. I mean who doesn’t feed their chickens all glamed up Lol?!  I love juxtaposition too!SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC

It was actually raining here I was hiding under an out cropping. Thanks to the rain we had to cut the glam chicken pictures short.SONY DSC SONY DSC

My mom wanted pictures of her and my dad together. Dad wanted the cars to be part of the shots. However my dad wouldn’t take the time to go anywhere so we made due with what was available in their yard. I wanted a different location and time of day, but I am very happy with how they turned out. When we went shopping for a top for the skirt I started looking for my dad too and found the shirt, jacket and pants. I also wanted to get some chucks to complete the look, but Mom wasn’t going for it. Oh yes, I love to help others shop so if you need help finding the perfect outfit(s) I can help with that too 🙂 She is wearing my heels and jewelry. I always have jewelry on hand for every shoot just in case I have the perfect accessory to complete your look.SONY DSC

This is my dad’s natural body language/stance so I went with it.SONY DSC

It was super fantastic that my dad happened to be working on a ’57 Bellaire. It is super roomy inside and the interior was in terrific shape and It provided great lighting. SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC
